Dago Pakar Cave


The cave is located at jalan Dago Bandung, that's way the name is Dago pakar cave, distance of approximately 7 km from the city center. There are some caves, each cave is named each of them.


Gua Jepang/Japanese Cave
Called Gua jepang/Japanese Cave because the cave was made during the Japanese occupation in
1942. The caves was made after the Dutch surrender and serve as the defense of allied attacks. There are four large caves that line, as well as some holes are small caves, between the cave which is connected with each other hallways.

Gua Belanda/Dutch Cave
Called Gua Belanda/Dutch cave because it's made by the Dutch in early 1941. At first Dutch military build this cave as hydroelectric tunnel Bent. However, because of its strategic location and close to downtown, then finally becomes a place ahead of the Dutch defense radio network to the second world war.

From gua jepang/japanese cave to gua Belanda/Dutch cave can be reached by walking less than 15 minutes. You can also go directly to the Dutch Goa by car.

Cave has also become the pass towards Maribaya sights in Lembang. Distance from Goa to Maribaya approximately 5 KM. It's just could not ride because of special vehicles for pedestrian through the beautiful forest.
For those of you who might be interested balls to get into the cave of darkness. But do not worry because there are many who want to take a complete guide with a flashlight.
